What are you doing right now? Stop it. Just stop. Drop that phone, fling that scalpel to the ground, let go of that control yoke, because Jason Drives is coming back, and I want everyone to just take a moment to let the healing begin. I’m excited, and I want you to be, too. Because, let’s face it, I love you.
The world is full of wonderful, terrible, absurd and fascinating cars, and I won’t rest until I’ve at least tried to drive them all, no matter how terrible they are or how bad I am at it or how much it hurts. This season we’ve found some fantastic stuff, and I can’t wait to show you everything.
You’ll see strange oddities from our pals at the Lane Motor Museum again, and you’ll see some humble cars doing remarkable things. There’s something with 0.34 horsepower.
There’s something I can drive indoors. There’s something I almost flipped. There may even be some non-terrible cars in the mix, and I know of at least one thing that’s not a car at all.
We’re still shooting some episodes, but we’ve got a bunch ready to go, and you can watch them starting November 7 right here on Jalopnik, or on our YouTube page, and now also on Facebook Watch, which is not like an Apple Watch. Shit, if you really want, I can even probably dub you some VHS copies, too.
Doing these might be my favorite part of a job I already love, so, please, let me bring you the experience of driving the things everyone else is too smart to drive.
