Hear The Sound Of The 2017 Fiat 124 Spider's Exhaust [UPDATE]

The 2017 Fiat 124 Spider is basically a Miata with a Fiat 500 Abarth engine. But does the 124 sound as good as the 500? We (kinda sorta) found out.

Here’s the car prowling the parking garage of the LA Auto Show, where Fiat debuted the car earlier today.

Basically it sounds like a 500 Abarth, only a little bit muffled.

That makes sense. The 500 Abarth has no muffler, and this 124 Spider does.

Can’t wait to hear the thing running wide open.
