The EuroNCAP safety performance assessment program gave the five star rating to the Jeep Renegade, the Audi A3 e-tron, the Porsche Macan, the Land Rover Discovery Sport, the Volkswagen Passat, the Lexus NX and the Subaru Outback. Here's how they fared.
Previous champions of this game in 2014 include the Kia Sorento, Ford Mondeo, Skoda Fabia and the Nissan Pulsar. Mind you, EuroNCAP is not doing small overlap crashes yet and a lot of cars are still missing from their list.

The list of those who had to settle for four stars starts with Kia and the Soul in both normal and EV form, Smart with both cars, the Mini Cooper and the Opel/Vauxhall Corsa, while Suzuki and Dacia both managed only three stars with the Logan MCV and the Celerio.
