The concept of the Renaultsport RS 0.1 is a strong one: Stuff a Nissan GT-R V6 into the back of a race car. Given Nissan's Le Mans plans it makes perfect sense to let their French cousins have a stab at it. Yet, all anyone can see is an R8.
While there are some bits of design that are unique to the vehicle and don't share a resemblance with the Audi R8 GT3 car, much of it feels derivative. So here's my question, is this:
- A consequence of aerodynamics, design cliches (like thin LED bars), and just general trends in design.
- A copy.
I ask because basically every new mid-size sedan, maybe with the exception of the Kia Optima and Mazda6, all look exactly the same now. Any other good examples of this?
