Is This History's Weirdest-Looking Coachbuilt Car?

You're looking at the "Demon Rouge," a 1952 Fiat 8V rebodied in 1954 by Italian coachbuilding house Vignale under the direction of Italian coachbuilder Michelotti. It is, uh, interesting.

They certainly don't make them like this anymore.

I've been bopping through Coachbuild.com and I haven't found a car I can reliably say is stranger than this wonderful mishmosh of '50s styling cues. Fins, wraparound front and rear windows, two-tone paint, inset front headlights, and a chrome strip or two.

But surely you can think of a coachbuilt car that's even stranger. What's the weirdest custom you've ever seen?
