This Is A 2JZ 240SX Exploding On A Drag Strip

How to lose at drag racing, a primer. Step 1: explode.

There are no other steps.

This is at Royal Purple Raceway near Houston over the weekend. I have no clue what exactly failed to make this explosion happen, and if you have any ideas, feel free to weigh in.

UPDATE: Mike Peters, Hennessey tuner and former Formula D El Camino driver, is a friend of the guys who ran this Nissan (find them at D3 Performance Engineering) and explained what happened.

It just got back from spanking some tail at Texas Invitational, TX2k and a wrist pin failed after about 2.5 years of nothing but abuse, driving on the street and kicking out 1500rwhp lol
