Gas mileage is one of the most important factors people consider when choosing a new car, right up there with reliability and safety. Unfortunately for everyone who loves SUVs, though, big, heavy, boxy crossovers aren’t naturally all that fuel efficient. The good news is automakers have slowly been making their SUVs more efficient, and many are now available as hybrids.
