SLIDE #110.) GM

The “Mark of Excellence” has been around since 1966, right around the time GM was deciding to let their most innovative design in ages, the Corvair, rot on the vine.

9.) Toyota

From it’s oval-like-everyone-else badge (which includes all the letters of the company name) to the painfully staid font, Japan’s GM is as bad as its American counterpart.

4.) Geely

4.) Geely

3.) BYD

BYD is another Chinese carmaker and also a manufacturer of cellphone batteries. They’re an interesting company, making some of the most blatant knockoffs in the Chinese auto industry, and also some of the most groundbreaking electric cars in their market. And yet their logo could not be more bland if it tried.

1.) Kia

The blandest of the bland. Hyper bland. Wallpaper paste in car logo form. The elevator music of the car logo world. It is the absolute distillation of dumbed-down design.
