A few weeks ago, we saw 15-year old Madison Snow out-drive his mom Melanie, in the quest to clinch the Porsche IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge by Yokohama Gold Class championship—and by gosh, in the next race, the the lil' tyke did it, by grabbing the big prize at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
Despite the fact that this kid has just barely outgrown his Fischer-Price Cozy Coupe, Snow is now the youngest winner ever of any global Porsche Cup Championship. You'll have to keep paying attention over the upcoming weeks to see if this pubescent go-pedal pusher can keep up with the adults and make it all the way to the American Le Mans Series.
Youth was also served in the form of rookie wins by Bryce Miller in the Platinum class and Mike Hedlund in Gold. But, age, wisdom, and experience did count for something as, in the Platinum class, Henrique Cisneros snagged his second championship in a row.
