Good news for us and bad news for our friends at Defamer: you're more likely to die during cosmetic surgery than in a car accident. According to the Murrows at the LA Times, deaths from liposuction could be as high as 20-100 deaths per 100,000 procedures, compared to just 16 deaths per 100,000 crashes. And the rate of death for those undergoing plastic surgery while in a car that has an accident are outstandingly high. [LA Times]
