Prototype racing at this weekend's 60th 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't as dramatic as usual, with Audi pulling a predictable 1-2 victory. The GT race was far more fascinating, with numerous cars swapping paint and positions until the last seconds of the race.
The new Aston Martin Vantage GTE had a favorable start in its ALMS debut only to have a tire separate from the car causing a 25-minute delay. Despite the accident, the car still finished 10th overall in GT and scored 15 points in the World Endurance Championship. It also looked incredible the entire time.
This is now almost tied with the Corvette as my favorite current GT car.
