Your Ridiculously Awesome McLaren P1 Wallpaper Is Here

We all know that the McLaren P1 is a beauty in its entirety, but it is important to appreciate things in smaller portions on occasion (maybe that’s just the rule for eating dessert, but hey). Either way, this shot will give your desktop the artsy touch it needs.

This weekend’s wallpaper comes from our friend Kurt Bradley, who went out to the Ride Drive Give charity event at Circuit of the Americas in Austin recently. Among the other cars he got a chance to shoot were several Lamborghinis and a fleet of Porsches—the Carrera GT, Porsche 911 and a grayscale Porsche 918 Martini racing livery—and more shots from the day are over on Kurt’s website.

Much like the other cars, the McLaren P1 never really fails to be photogenic. When the car reached the end of production last year, it was a sad day for all of us (about as sad as when people crash them). The car is even more stunning in a naked-carbon conversion, but simply changing out those body panels costs as much one of the manufacturer’s 650S Spiders. That’s about £220,000.

Here’s hoping that your week ahead plays out as beautifully as snapping a photo of a McLaren P1—hopefully you won’t burn a P1 conversion-sized hole in your wallet, though. If you have a photo or two that you’d like to see featured as one of our weekend wallpapers, feel free to send an email to the address below.
