Illustration for article titled Your Ridiculously Awesome Lamborghini Miura Wallpaper Is Here

Thanks to Kanye and 2 Chainz, the Lamborghini Murcielago has been getting a lot of radio play these days. But every now and then, it's good to remember a time when not all Lamborghinis looked like stealth fighters about to carpet bomb some third-world country.

Take the Miura for example. Produced from 1966 to 1972, it was in many ways the first true modern supercar, with an engine in the middle, exotic looks and blistering performance. Even today, it remains unquestionably sexy and quite rare, since only a few hundred were ever made.

This close-up of the Miura's front end gives us a nice look at its curves and the attention to detail that went into its overall styling. My only criticism is that this particular Miura appears to be cordoned off behind some chains when it should be on the road somewhere. This is a raging bull that deserves to be unleashed.

What do you think of the Miura and old-school Lambos?
