According to this article out of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a new plant is Louisana that will make 1.4 million gallons of ethanol from cellulosic sources (e.g., wood chips, corn cobs, etc.) will begin production next year. But that won't be enough, states the article, and it never will be if the feds don't step in with some research bux muy pronto. All I have to say is I'm gonna build a 14:1 compression motor as soon as I can get cheap pure alcohol at the corner gas station.
