The Audi Quattro, along with the whole of Group B, was banned from rallying in 1986 for generally being too awesome. (Also, a bunch of deaths, but that's sad so let's ignore it.) The Quattro was brutally fast both on and off road, and created such a legend for itself that Audi occasionally thinks of reviving the moniker.
But with great power comes great responsibility, or in Group B's case, lack thereof. Thus we come to the crux of our question: Would you allow yourself to be banned from racing and track days in all forms to have the rare bird we call the Audi Quattro?
For those who rarely or never frequent a track, it's probably worth it. But to those for whom a lifetime ban would mean something: is the Audi Quattro just too alluring? Tell us what you think in the comments.
