The 2015 Nissan Murano will be launched next month at the New York Auto Show, but Nissan has let us in on at least one of the details on its new midsize crossover: it has a headlight that looks like it belongs on a Maxima.
The company has also released this very dark, very short video of the new Murano's side. I could be wrong, but it looks an awful lot like the 2014 Rogue's side.
Nissan is now calling the Murano a "halo vehicle" in its SUV lineup, probably in an attempt to restore interest in the five-seat crossover that's been neglected in the midst of the company's numerous other introductions. It would be great if it had a look all its own like the Juke, but so far the signs aren't good.
If, however, you're in the market for an inoffensive, five-seat crossover in the $30-40,000 range, then you're probably happy the Murano isn't expected to deviate from its formula.
We'll see all of it on April 16.
