You know the game. A car company launches a new model, then (if it's lucky) makes changes every few years as a new generation. Some updates are mild, some blow the mind. Which car unerwent the most revolutionary generational change?

Car companies update new model generations for lots of reasons: Changes in government regulations, poor sales, uncompetitive positioning, or the always-appreciated upgrades in performance. Sometimes companies just screw up, piss off the brand faithful, and have to make amends. Mostly they're conservative about model changes, but sometimes they go buck wild. Let's round up the new generations that caused the most WTFs — good or bad.
