Nothing beats old-school iron for sheer, awe-striking numbers. Strap on an intercooled supercharger, and add pistons the size of trash cans, and the numbers can soar into the stratosphere. Stephen Durr's 1970 Dodge Challenger cranks out 650hp to the rear wheels, and enough torque to pull all 650 of those horses up Mt. Everest (over 700 ft./lbs.). With the nitrous bottle hooked up, four figures for both of those measures would certainly not be an outrageous claim. Plus, it's not bad to look at.
