With pen and ink, designer/illustrator Don Pace captures the little-known social sphere of high-heeled women who smuggle Crenshaw melons under their halter tops, and the tiny hot rods on which they recline languidly. It's not often we use the phrase "would make a suitable tatoo" in a sentence, but we just did.
