CountersteerYour true stories of good and bad things that happen in cars.

We all know air-cooled 911s command obscene prices these days. But we also know that they happen to be fantastic to own and drive, if you’re hard enough to handle what comes up. So what’s the most expensive old 911 you can find right now?

Our Nice Price or Crack Pipe-writing pal Graverobber is still on vacation—I received a late-night fax from him last night that proved all but indecipherable, except for the words “Vancouver” and “bus commune”—but we can have used car fun without him.

If we were to scour Craigslist, AutoTrader, Cars.com or any of the other sites, could find the most egregiously or hilariously expensive old 911 out there? I bet so.

I found this 1989 Cabriolet Turbo for $399,930, and that is very very not cheap. But it’s hardly the priciest old 911 out there, I’m sure.

Scour the listings and show us what you can find. You might even notice a great deal, who knows...
