Then there were the stunts. It's amazing that we lived to see 10, considering how we'd drag plywood and cinder blocks onto a nearby golf course, only to flail our way downhill, Evel Knievel style. Many a wind was knocked out of us on the frozen ground that day. And kids aren't the only ones who go in for ride-on vehicles, considering the number and scope of small recreational vehicles it's amazing the injuries haven't mounted equally.
