What's The Most Annoying Cost-Cutting Feature On A Cheap Car?

Listen, people. I don't know if you've noticed this, but we're still in a recession. We're not all rolling around in Maybachs and Bentleys and Cressidas lighting cigars with $100 bills like we used to, okay? Some of us have to make do with cheaper cars these days.

And there's absolutely nothing wrong with a cheap car. Some of us prefer to spend our money on other things, or don't mind the idea of a good, solid beater. But cheap cars often come with annoying penalties that reflect their price tags.

That's our question for today: What's the most annoying cost-saving feature on a cheap car?

Personally, hard plastic everywhere is a huge pet peeve of mine. I can't stand it. Another good one is windows that will automatically roll down at the touch of a button, but not up. Why can't it be both?

Your turn. What's the worst thing on a cheap car? It can be old or new. Go nuts.
