What Would The Founding Fathers Drive?

Tomorrow is the 4th of July, the time when we gather to celebrate the independence of America by blowing up a small part of it. Our forefathers (and mothers) didn't have cars, but let's pretend like they did. What would they drive?

I'd like to see a forefather, a car, and an explanation. For example:

Forefather: Alexander Hamilton

Car: Jaguar XJR

Reason: While Hamilton is on our money and was on our side, Thomas Jefferson and the Republican set always secretly suspected him of being pro-British. He was also pretty well-off. The XJR was a fancy British car with a big ol' American-derived V8. What better choice for Hamilton?
