Funny how now that Michael Schumacher's gone from the grid, he almost seems like the F1 legend the stats say he is. Despite his winningness, Schumacher's driving style never quite inspired the kind of mad, passionate following of, say, Giles Villeneuve, by way of his hell-for-leather antics, unconscionable lap times and ultimate demise.
