It's been a good week for those of us champing at the bit to learn more about the Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus 003C. We've heard it start, watched video of it on the track, and discovered that the road version will be powered by a twin-turbocharged W12. Now we have photos. Oh yes, we have photos.
The shots were taken at the Vairano proving grounds just outside of Naples, Italy, where Jim Glickenhaus and his crew were shaking the SCG003C down. Former F1, WTCC, and DTM driver Nicola Larini was at the helm to help tune the Honda-based Autotecnica Motori TTV6, gearbox, electronics, and chassis. Now the team is heading out to other tracks around Europe for testing in the run up to its race debut at the Nürburgring VLN Championship and the 24 hours.
