Well, The Mercedes AMG-GT Sounds Pretty Badass On The 'Ring

I'm on record as saying that the upcoming Mercedes AMG-GT didn't sound all that mind-blowing when Mercedes put clips of its exhaust note on YouTube a while back. Maybe all it needed was some quality time around the Nürburgring, because it sounds a hell of a lot better here.

This video shows Mercedes' planned 911-fighter as it makes its rounds on the 'Ring, all the while emitting a nice, angry growl. It seems more than adept at taking corners at high speeds, and while we still don't know what it will look like exactly, it's shaping up pretty nicely in this spy camo.

And as we learned recently, its 4.0-liter turbo V8 will put out at least 510 horsepower and be in all sorts of new AMG cars. That's something to look forward to.
