Welcome to the Jalopnik Weekend Motorsports Roundup, where we let you know what's going on in the world of racing, where you can see it, and talk about it all in one convenient place. Where else would you want to spend your weekend?
And welcome also to the first edition of Weekend Motorsports Roundup on our redesigned site. If anyone has ideas on how we can do this better in light of all the cool features we have in Kinja, I'm game to give them a try. Suggestions are welcome.
The big excitement this weekend comes in the form of the Sprint Unlimited, the exhibition race formerly known as the Bud Shootout. On Saturday we'll see the debut of the Gen 6 Sprint Cup cars, and that alone should be pretty exciting.
Other than that's it's a bit light on the racing front. But we're already halfway through February, which means it's getting warmer out (eventually) and we have more racing on the horizon very soon. Good news, right?
As always, let us know about anything we might have missed in the comments, and feel free to hook us up with some good livestreams if you know of any.
