What more perfect illustration can there be of the non-usefulness of the Smart EV than Smart's own Frankfurt Motor Show display with two cars designed to be the paddles in a giant game of Jumbotron Pong?
How so? Well, because having them act as controllers is the only time we've ever found these slow little electric two-seaters interesting. Or cool.

Also, by the way, it's a good thing Smart's running this marketing gimmick in Europe and not in the U.S. — because we feel like Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood would jump right in to ask for distracted driving hearings over it.
