In a nation where women are forbidden to drive, there is a subculture of young men who are street racing, street drifting, and just generally being dangerous jerks on the public streets of Saudi Arabia. They even have their own websites. Spotters with cell phones keep them well ahead of the police.
"Drifting" in Saudi Arabia is known as Tafheet. It doesn't resemble Japanese drifting of the kind of which most car enthusiasts are probably aware. The video below demonstrates exactly what it's about. Swinging back and forth at dangerously high speeds while using excessive amounts of opposite lock. It takes entire highways to do effectively and generally brings drifters very close to barriers or other motorists.
It can often be deadly.
