In Minnesota, some poor aloof drivers might have to pick up a new set of shock absorbers—and also maybe a new pair of underwear—after driving their cars off a ramp that was once the left lane of a highway.
In Little Canada, Minnesota, heat and our good friend alpha (α—that’s the thermal expansion coefficient), have caused a busy highway to buckle into a mild version of a Tuff Truck Challenge course. Watch as these ordinary passenger cars go airborne:
Most of the cars started to nosedive with all their weight in the front. Except for that Audi in the beginning of the clip, which stayed level and took the jump like an absolute champ.
Must be those quattro roots.
