The 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 RS gets 520 horsepower from its naturally-aspirated flat six, which is a glorious thing. It’s no surprise that it’s also a track monster, completing the 12.9-mile Nürburgring in a blazing 6:56.4.
That’s all very quick, of course, but the GT3 RS isn’t even the fastest 911 to go around the ‘Ring, which would be the GT2 RS. The GT2 RS holds the current record of 6:47.3, besting the Huracan Performante’s mark in September. What car is maybe, possibly, contending to beat that? The new Lamborghini Jota, of course. I think the smart money is on Lambo.
