Watch The BMW M135i Get Smoky And Slide-y On A Wet Day

Of all the current BMWs we don't get in the U.S., my favorite is the M135i. You know, the hatchback with rear-wheel-drive and a turbocharged straight six good for 315 horsepower. The headlights are kind of goofy, but the rest of car is so awesome that I'd let that slide.

Oh, and speaking of sliding, it turns out the M135i is very, very good at that. Dutch publication Autogespot took a crack at it recently, and they put their antics on film for the rest of us to enjoy. Wonderful people, the Dutch.

The weather looks gray and kind of gross on the day they tested it, but that's never a bad thing when it helps a car get sideways.

An M1 by any other name would smell as sweet

Fucking BMW and their insistence on not having a supercar.

In the time that BMW has been sitting on their assess, Audi has spawned the R8 and Mercedes has gone through an SLR and now SLS.

Either make a supercar or be logical and give these the M1 badge already.

Oh wait, logic and BMW naming? What was I thinking - they couldn't apply logical names if their lives depended on it.
