The potential off-road abilities of the 2015 Jeep Renegade have been hotly debated since we first heard about the little bitty SUV. Now we finally get a chance to sneak a peek of it where Jeeps are benchmarked: the slickrock trails of Moab, Utah.
Slickrock does provide copious traction and yes we've all seen that video of a Ford Crown Victoria tackling this terrain hat tip to Hammerheadfistpunch, but the Renegade seems to be holding its own on some of the steeper stuff in this quick clip.
Can't wait to find out more about the Hill Descent Control system Jeep has worked up "especially for this vehicle."
Here's the wee Renegade flexing its water wings on a river crossing, and fire-road exploring out in (where we think is) Italy.
The more I see it, the more I like it. What do you think?
