NYPD wants help finding the joker who made off with this adorable little steamroller back on April 17th, having just released this surveillance footage of the theft that went down at sloth-pace in broad daylight almost two months ago.
To be honest, it hardly looks like he's stealing the thing, maybe that's why it took the cops so long to realize this was a crime?
The New York Post says the vehicle was plucked out of a lot at 1283 East Gun Hill Road in the Bronx neighborhood of Williamsbridge at 11:25 a.m. on April 17. I reckon that thing's long gone... don't your chances of recovering something drop to almost zero after it's been missing two days?
If you do happen to see this thing or recognize the guy driving it you can be a hero to construction equipment everywhere by calling the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
