Ken Block, once again the only American in this round of the World Rally Championship, quickly proves how tough the Fiesta is by whacking into the very first turn of the rally. The 8-Bit Fiesta keeps going anyway. Ain't care.
"Built Ford Tough" is the truth, yo.
All forcible adjustments to the course by hatchback aside, man, this is a stunningly gorgeous rally stage. The only mixed-surface (tarmac and dirt) rally on the WRC schedule goes through both urban environments like this stage as well as through the Spanish countryside, making for perhaps one of the most beautiful rounds of sweet, drifty, yumpy hoonin' on the schedule.
Oh, Kenny. At least wait until a few turns in next time, will ya?
WRC Spain continues throughout the weekend, with the final stages on Sunday.
