In his book 3 Seconds: The Power of Thinking Twice, professor of clinical psychology Les Parrott, Ph.D. says it takes three seconds to redirect a thought — in other words, to think twice. This 2013 Nissan GT-R gets from 0-60 quicker than that. Who's got the power now, Doc?
Yes, this is a stock 2013 Nissan GT-R, recently uptuned to 545 hp and 463 lb-ft (from 530 and 448 in the '12). The extra power and torque have apparently cut its 0-60 time by two tenths from its quickest tested time, to 2.7 seconds. That, plus — according to this video — a quarter-mile time of 10.87 @ 125 mph. That's freaking quick, or as Dr. Parrott says, "That's all that lies between settling for 'Whatever' ... or insisting on 'Whatever it takes.'"
See you at the seminar.
