Watch a horse lead police on an eight-mile chase

Officers in Lawrence Township, Ohio spent the better part of an afternoon chasing a suspect down a rural highway. The suspect, named Java, was clearly unarmed and maintained a low speed while weaving in and out of traffic. He's a horse, of course of course.

What's most amusing in this video is the horse completely owns the police. This is mostly because he's scared and not out of some aggressive, anti-statist, Rage Against The Machine-fueled political statement. Still, if you're going to outrun the cops you could do worse than having a horse outside.

Eventually, Java tired himself out and was apprehended.
