As both Sun Tzu and Rage Against The Machine's Zack de la Rocha once said, "Know your enemy." Subaru is obviously not one to argue with these important philosophers, especially when it comes to their new WRX STI.
This latest brief spy video shows what appears to be a WRX STI mule getting chased down by one of its primary competitors, the front-wheel-drive-but-still-amazing Mazdaspeed3. How can you know how good your car is until you run it against what the other guys have to offer, right?
We've seen this car in spy shots before. I'm really hoping it's just a development mule, anyway, and not an indicator of what the actual 2014 WRX and STI will look like. After all, we were all big fans of the Subaru WRX Concept that bowed at the New York Auto Show. I do hope that concept will become a reality in some way, and that it won't get watered down on its way to production.
What are your hopes for the next 'Rex?
