The current record of 57 simultaneous donuts in Australia was bested and inverted yesterday when 75 drifters pulled off the same feat at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California last week.

The Aussies first eclipsed the original record of 29 cars with a bonkers 57, and now some good old American muscle (with a hefty dose of Japanese metal) have eclipsed them by 18 cars.

"That was a blast. With all the smoke and all the cars doing donuts simultaneously," Drifter Calvin Wain tells Bay City News. "I've never seen anything as big as that. That was just a great time."
A great time indeed.
