One of the best performance sedans GM ever built, the Pontiac G8 GXP, is dead. The Aussies still get a Holden version, and a wagon. Heck, this one from Walkinshaw Performance packs 603HP. Wagon. V8. Supercharger. Sometimes the world's unfair.

Walkinshaw's Superwagon is based on a Holden SS-V Special Edition Sportwagon which comes from the factory with a 362HP 6.0-liter V8 with 390 lb-ft of torque. Not too shabby for a slick wagon. But Walkinshaw saw that as a starting point, packing on a roots type supercharger, bigger fuel injectors and custom 3-inch exhaust system to raise output to an passenger-rearranging 610 HP and 568 lb-ft of torque. The car also gets a stiffer set of lowering springs, new dampers and 20" wheels and a powertrain warranty for all the work which matches the length of the original GM warranty. Have we mentioned is available with a six-speed manual transmission. We're about to go cry in our Wheaties. [The Motor Report]
