A Formula Drift champ, Motley Crüe fan and ex-IT guy Vaughn Gittin Jr. has been testing a less-powerful but lighter and naturally-aspirated Mustang for the 2011 season. Tomorrow in Long Beach he'll be putting his goatee where his Monster is.

The Team Falken Mustang's new motor produces 50 less horsepower than last season's supercharged version, while weighing nearly 200 pounds less. Gittin's been promoting the dealer-installed RTR sports package, which adds around $9,900 to the price of a new Mustang, adding an aero kit including a chin spoiler / splitter, rear diffuser, aluminum rear spoiler and Ford Racing shocks.
