Some of the people who will likely bring you the next couple of decades' worth of automotive designs recently showed their graduate projects at the Ume Institute of Design. The students, who've completed the school's Masters degree programs in Transportation Design, Advanced Product Design, and Interaction Design, displayed ideas both evolutionary and revolutionary. Some of the concepts included a proposed Chevrolet model, the Americana, that would bring "the essence of Americana" to Europe, and a friendly "Truck for China" that looks more like than a big, orange puppy than a delivery van.
