One of the two 1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spiders ever built will cross auction block at RM's Monaco event next month. Although almost unthinkably rare , the 625 TRC Spider is well known to car lovers—it is considered by many enthusiasts to be one of the most attractive Ferraris ever made.

This Ferrari—Chassis Number 0680 MDTR—was purchased in unrestored condition by the current owner back in 1982. Since then the car has been completely restored, shown at Pebble Beach twice and competed in "at least" 130 vintage races. The V12 was recently rebuilt and features a little more horsepower (320) than "the average" 625 TRC Spider—by that we mean the other one.

It doesn't take an auction expert to see this car has all of the right attributes—super rare, vintage Ferrari, documented motorsports history—to start a high dollar bidding war amongst wealthy collectors. Currently RM has a pre auction estimate of € 3-3.7 million ($3.9-4.8 million) attached to the car, but we wouldn't be at all surprised if this amazing vintage Ferrari sells for more.
