How quick we were to applaud GM Vice Chairman, Bob Lutz for launching his executive's corner on GM Blogs. Turns out, we should have been a bit, er, cautiouser with our applause. To paraphrase Jerry Seinfeld, Anyone can start a blog, the important part is actually blogging. (I think Seinfeld was talking about rental-car reservations). It appears Mr. Lutz hasn't put finger one to keyboard since January 14, the equivalent of 1978 in blog-time. The problem is that Lutz has yet to grow the blogger mentality of "I must always be blogging, dammit" and abandon the "Screw this bullshit, I have a company to run" mindset. For his blog to work, he's gotta work it like Doogie Hauser. Mr. Lutz, we implore you: post daily, even if it's just whether you had gin or vodka in your luncheon martini.
