Turning a relatively mild-mannered Honda Civic SI into a fire-breathing, rock-solid endurance machine is much like turning an 80-pound weakling into a triathlete — it takes time, muscle and some serious tricks of the trade. LA's mysterious Team Orange took an off-the-rack Civic, added one JDM Integra Type R engine, and came up with a serious competitor. We never learned any of that in civics class.
