As add-on car gizmos go, adornment enthusiasts can do far worse than the Spinner Exhaust Tip, if only for its sheer inconspicuity. As you probably guessed, the attachment is fitted to a car's exhaust tip, and spins like a spring-loaded turbine amid the car's exhaust stream. (During heavy acceleration the extra force pushes it outward.) What's more, according to the company marketing it, the spinner enhances performance (however vaguely), eliminating "the initial hesitation of the engine under rapid acceleration." It also "uniformly disperses gases into the atmosphere," the benefit of which is entirely lost on us. Knock yourselves out, kids.
