Truck driving can be terrible, if you're the kind of person that hates sitting and staring at the road for long periods of time. So meet Allie Knight, a truck driver who spliced together scenes of singing Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" while doing her daily driving. While she might object to a manic pixie girl appellation, I think we can all agree her music video is totes adorbs.

Although the lip-synch isn't always dead on, it's obvious Allie is having an absolute blast making the video. It's hard not to want to get up and dance, even though you'll probably make an idiot of yourself doing it. Okay, well, I don't know about you, but I would make a total idiot of myself. Which just goes to show how brave Allie is to let us in her attempts to beat the tedium. I'm especially a fan of the hat throwing.

With delightful cries of "Good morning, Internet," Allie introduces us to her life as trucker in daily video updates. "If trucking stops, America stops," or something to that effect is a bumper sticker I often see around the United States. Allie describes her position as essential to civilisation, and I agree with her.

I explore the country looking for freight, earning an honest living doing the kinds of driving that make civilized life possible for the rest of us. Join me on my epic journey throughout the US with Herschel, my now retired International, Reginald, my new Freightliner, and Tom, my GPS.

I think she's got some serious talent, and I really want to see what she has in store for us next. Whatever it is, I'm probably going to want to "Shake It Off" to her cool trucker stylings.
