In response to Apple banning DUI checkpoint apps, automotive app Trapster pulled the checkpoint alerts from their program, although they say they still "believe the inclusion of DUI checkpoints is a positive deterrent."
There once were two technology companies, both massive and both makers of things people liked. One was a good company, with an expressed interest in doing no evil. The other was an evil company with no expressed interest in doing good. That second company is called Apple, and they apparently hate people.
I'll resist going on a rant about the stupidity of drunk driving laws, my passionate hatred of MADD, and the completely convoluted violation of the 4th Amendment the Supreme Court carved out to allow DUI checkpoints in the first place. Area warrants my fucking ass!
