Toyota has a two-and-a-half-year plan for world domination that includes a blizzard of new models (or 16, whichever comes first) and a major sales push in North America. The plan includes the launch of new gas-only vehicles, like the Toyota FJ Cruiser two-door SUV and two new entry-level models, as well as hybrid versions of the Camry, Lexus GS, pickup and others. It involves tangible goals, like selling 600,000 hybrids, and intangible ones, like "reaching our next level," according to Senior Managing Director Takeshi Suzuki. What, you ask, could possibly be the next level of the world's #2 automaker? Hmmm.
