Welcome to Sunday Matinee, where we highlight classic car reviews or other longer videos I find on YouTube. Kick back and enjoy this blast from the past.
Are you super sad that all the surprise reveals from the Geneva Motor Show have concluded? We got some pretty sweet machines out of it, but now we'll have to wait another year before we're dazzled with more hypercars. How unfortunate.
To ease your suffering, your favorite motoring programme is here to take you to another car show — specifically, the London Motor Show from 1995.
There were lots of great rides on tap there, including the then-new Ferrari F50, and a news sportscar you may or may not have heard of called the Lotus Elise. There's also the Ascari (remember those?) and bunch of Rovers, which aren't nearly as exciting.
Also available for your viewing pleasure: a Chris Goffey review of the 1995 Peugeot 406 (boring) and a Tiff Needell review of a 1938 Alfa Romeo replica (awesome).
What's your favorite car from the 1995 London Motor Show?
